Understanding the process behind exploring conscious states:

There's allot to digest in this section so read twice if you're new to all this. We are going to do our best to give you an exposition into this without getting cryptic or pretending to safeguard secret information.

All of this is available to you if you can put together the experiences of others or simply pay attention in your own. So please read carefully.

There is a science, a process that needs to be adhered to, about what is happening here.
This process you must learn and experience for yourself so you understand.

You just get rid of all the "stuff" we identify with as "us" but really isn't useful towards your goal.

To put it simply you are a monad - an indivisible point of pure aware consciousness which comes from the highest absolute levels of creation, that is using an organic machine of a Human body. All of the Homo Sapien species on this planet have a central nervous system we interact through as a means to experience this physical dimension with. Our brains are the biological computers that we receive our impressions through. This sensory input in the form of our sensory impressions is what we use to form a picture of reality with.

Some problems arise with this, mostly being that you are at the mercy of how well your senses work as well as being at the mercy of your own mind's interpretation of what "real" should mean.

In the beginning, a person is completely unaware that their own mind is the sole apparatus which is telling them what picture of reality to believe. When a person can not turn the mind off and effectively stop the mental chatter and internal narrating this person is unaware that they are completely at the mercy of what the mind wants to believe of the sensory impressions being received. Their consciousness is not all focused or present in one place as Robert Monroe had stated.

The objective of all this is to not allow our own minds to paint a false picture of what is real for us. Instead of seeing objective impressions as simple artifacts of this dimension we let our chattering mind paint a picture with them that is not really "true" in the same sense. It's like a puzzle. Impressions are the different pieces for the puzzle but the mind wants to come in and abstract the complete picture before all the pieces have been obtained. Only the consciousness can transcend the mind to get a pure, unobstructed view of the whole. The mind simply plays with fragments.

A beginner has to harness the chattering mind and silence it to a degree as a means to effect a progressive transcendental dynamic that holds power over the out-of-control abstracting dynamic of the mind. In this website you will find links to various meditation resources that can help teach you to stop or at least cut down on the mental chatter. Any skilled astral operative has always been adamant about this for a reason. Read any legitimate source on the subject they will all mostly tell you the same thing.

This is the hard part and the basis of any consciousness work. Gaining control. You can not expect to use consciousness to effect your own willpower and intent to accomplish transcending the chattering mind when you don't even know that you don't know this is what's stopping you.

Please read on in the next sections....
